Hope was a tried-and-true friend to any and all. Her government name, Hope Fora Cure, represented all those who have been affected by breast cancer. She was a gift to Virginia (Grammie) when she was only 3 years old, and she had no idea how many lives she would touch in her very short 13 years on this worldly plane.

Hope was always a beacon of light and gave a smile to anyone who encountered her. While with our family, she experienced many changes and losses, but that never changed her demeanor. She always knew when to give a kiss on the cheek, a subtle nudge, lick on the hand, or a ‘woof’ in solidarity. Most of all, she experienced LOVE.

Hope loved snacking on baby carrots and ice cookies (ice cubes) and played with her toys like there was no tomorrow. She brought light and love to everyone around her, and she will be sorely missed.

Grammie and Sam will be welcoming her over the Rainbow Bridge. Sam will be happy to show her the ropes, and Grammie will be happy to be reunited with her furry friend once more.
