Lizzie Pooh Evans — lovingly known as Pooh Bear, Lizzie Bear, and Mamaw — passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, at the age of 17.

Born on January 15, 2009, Lizzie found her family on a cold day in February of that same year — choosing them as her forever home. From the very beginning, she made it clear she was exactly where she belonged.

As the runt of the litter, Lizzie was full of spunk and personality. She always got her way, and if you didn’t listen, she made sure to tell you. Lizzie ruled the house with confidence and charm, keeping everyone in line in her own special way.

In her later years, she became the sweetest old girl, happiest when she was being held and close to the people she loved. Her gentle spirit and constant need for closeness made those final years even more special.

For 17 incredible years, Lizzie was more than just a pet — she was family, the heart of the home, and a source of unconditional love.

She is survived by her devoted mom, Kelly Evans; her dad, Tyler Evans; her loving sister, Daisy; and her two brothers, Ivan and Newt, who will all miss her deeply.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will never fade. Her paw prints are forever imprinted on the hearts of those who loved her most.
