Pilot was our gentle giant.
She was the most loving companion to us and our other dogs. She always claimed her spot on the bed before anyone else could sit down. And when she did, she always let out a huge sigh of relief.
Pilot got her name from our car. We picked her up out in the country before realizing we were on E trying to get back home, so the name stuck!
She was always the first one to the food bowl and did a dance when it was time to eat. She loved her food and loved begging for table scraps. She didn’t know what the word NO meant, because rules didn’t apply to her. The other dogs were jealous because she could sit and still see what we were eating at the table.
Pilot loved using our clothes as a napkin. Weather she just ate or drank something, she was looking for someone to wipe her mouth on.
Her doggy mares shook the bed and woke up everyone in the house! She was the only dog who loved the water. She had her own kiddie pool and she didn’t allow her friends in it. Because of this, giving her baths were easy!
For a short time she would sit in the doorway and whine because she wanted to be ‘invited’ into the room we were in… we couldn’t figure out why she did this!
Her happy tail will never be forgotten because we were often greeted by it before her. Her tail was definitely a whip to us, but her way of showing us excitement!
We will love and miss you forever- 🤍
