Obituary

October 17, 2018 — We went to the humane shelter to pick out a “small dog.” Then we saw you, sitting in a kennel all by yourself. You were the only dog not barking or jumping around — just sitting there, staring at us with your big brown eyes.
The kids begged to get you out and play with you, so I finally gave in… and it didn’t take more than a minute for all of us to fall completely in love with you.
So instead of walking out with a small dog, we walked out with an 11-month-old, 60-pound goofy boy. You pushed your way into our hearts with all your force, and we loved you with all of ours.

You were the best dog anyone could ever ask for. You immediately became such a Momma’s boy — everywhere I went in the house, you were there. If I went outside, you were right there too.

Spot, there will never be another dog like you. You can never be replaced, and you will forever hold the biggest place in our hearts and our home. I hope you’re up there waiting for me when it’s my time to go, with your big brown eyes and that kissable spot on your head.

Until we see each other again… RIH 🐶
