William Boone passed away surrounded by his family who loved him so very much. While his death has been hard on his family and came as a total surprise, we take solace in knowing that he crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is now able to run and play. William has fought pug myelopathy for years and the condition was not kind to his health, but he never allowed it to take away from his sweet and kind soul. William loved sunsets. Of an evening, he go to the door and say his unique "whoa whoa whoa," and we'd either carry him, take him in his stroller (which he loved) or his wheelchair. He would take the sunset in. He'd stare at the colors and smile. He loved the color yellow. He always responded to blankets, sweaters and anything in that hue. William did not have a mean bone in his body. He loved everyone and was described by family and friends as "the sweetest soul."

William is survived by his Momma Billie Boone, sisters Lauranna and Valerie Boone, brother Jack Boone, and his sibling pugs, Buddy, Molly, Bella and Daisy. Bella and William had a special relationship and he loved her so much. His family would like to thank Kentuckiana Pug Rescue for selecting them years ago to be William's forever family. His foster mom Koren Grounds saved him from his original family and the Boone's are forever grateful for her compassion and care towards William. They would also like to thank Lorri O'Donnell and Annie Faircloth for approving William's adoption and for saving hundreds of other pugs and finding them their forever homes. They would also like to thank Dr. Michael Staub and his staff for giving William the best medical care.

William will be missed. We love him so so much. He was the best "whoa whoa boy."
